This fish was photographed in the Philippines, near Anilao. Despite the black background, it was photographed on a shallow reef in the middle of the day. The use of inward lighting - turning the strobes toward the camera - allowed me to achieve the dark look. This particular fish is a Juvenile Harlequin Sweetlips.
