I definitely feel that this could be a science fiction movie poster about a monster that rises from the depths. Except, that it's a manta ray! A very gentle and friendly creature! Mantas feed on plankton, and will congregate in areas where plankton is heavy in the water, attracted by our dive lights. These mantas grow to about 8-12 ft long, and are found off the coast of Kona, in Hawaii.
