This photo was taken in Banff National Park, at Bow Lake. I got this photo, while waiting for several hours for a family member to return from his hike with soon-to-be-wife. They finally returned, and got married at that very point of gravel pictured. I also had to fight off a rather inconsiderate tourist who dashed into the area, just as the bride and groom were about to approach to start the ceremony. He did not like being told what to do, but eventually left, and a very nice, though cold and windy, wedding was able to happen.
