The haunting view of this giant Goliath Grouper from West Palm Beach, FL, was created with a wide
angle lens, with the strobes turned off. One of the dive sites has several pylons underwater that the
grouper like to hang around during mating season. I had taken many photos face to face of the grouper,
so I decided to change position to see if I could get a silhouette of the fish. The grouper lined itself
perfectly between two of the pylons. Interestingly enough, I took this photo without actually looking at
the camera screen, and was incredibly lucky to get this perfect moment.
