The kelp forests of Catalina Island, along with the lower visibility in these waters can elicit the feeling of
being in a mystical, foggy forest. I imagined this scene as something one might find in a fantasy novel; a
terrifying and dark forest that the heroes must venture through. Thankfully real kelp forests are much
more inviting, unless you have become tangled in the giant strands!
