I See You

This lobster was found on a night dive near Catalina Island. The catch lights in the eyes from my strobe give it quite the adorable personality! This lobster is a California spiny lobster, and does not have front claws like many lobsters you might have seen before. I won't forget that night dive. At one point, I had something large tap my leg and when I looked back, there was no other divers around, and I didn't see any sort of large fish. Most likely though, it was a calico bass looking for food. But it may have been something else...
