Back in the waters near the Socorro Islands, my dive group was led on a drift dive by our wonderful Dive Master, Pablo. While hanging on to some rocks, one of our eagle-eyed group members spotted these two octopuses hanging out together, partially camouflaged with the rocks. Knowing I had to get a photo of this rare sight, but being far away, I kept one hand on a rock and stretched out as far as I could toward the two octopuses. I was not able to even look in my viewfinder, as I pointed the camera in the general direction and hoped my settings were accurate. Going back to the main boat on the zodiac, I flipped through and saw that I had gotten very lucky and had the exact shot I had pictured in my mind's eye! I believe these two guys are Two - spotted octopuses.
