Wide Eye

This fish is the Hawaiian Damselfish, a species only found in the waters off of Hawaii. It is a very rare fish to see, but this one would not leave me alone! This fish had found its home in the artificial reef wreck of the Carthaginian, off the coast of Maui. I spent a large chunk of that dive taking photos of it, because it kept swimming in front of my lens. Sometimes, you can hear this fish grunting underwater!
