I went snorkeling off a small beach area in the Northern part of Oahu, hoping to catch some morning dolphins, who sometimes swim close to shore. Unfortuantely, there weren't any, so I instead spent the time following around some large schools of fish. I believe these fish to be herring. In order to capture this abstract shot, I lowered my shutter speed and moved the camera with the fish, as I hit the shutter. The result is a brushstroke-like photo that looks like it was painted.
