Red Skeleton

Skeleton shrimp are numerous in the waters off of Anilao, in the Philippines. They tend to be attached to underwater sticks and corals, often waving in the water like the inflatable displays in front of car dealerships. They are usually transparent creatures. For this photo, I was able to create a lighting technique that I have never seen before. I was able to get the creature lit red, while leaving the surrounding area normal colored. Because this was about 50% accidental, I am still working on recreating this lighting technique!
