Guardian

Limited Edition

On one of my first dives in the Philippines, I was photographing a striated frog fish, and decided to take a break from him as a subject for awhile. Perched on a nearby fire urchin, were two zebra crabs! While practicing my inward lighting - turning the strobes toward the camera - I got a few shots of the crabs that I felt were what I was looking for. Later while reviewing my images on my computer, I noticed that my camera had actually focused on a pile of eggs that the zebra crab was holding! It's often exciting to find things you missed during the actual shoot in your photos.
