Yellow Butterfly

The big longnosed butterflyfish is a beautiful yellow color often seen on reefs in Indo-Pacific waters. This fish was found picking at the coral, off the coast of Maui, in Hawaii. This fish is not to be confused with the yellow longnosed butterfly fish, which is a very common relative, but has slightly different face coloring, and a shorter snout.
